EKH Kindergarten

The time children spend in kindergartens often has a formative influence on the rest of their lives. Therefore, the experienced team of educators at the EKH kindergarten would like to offer children the best possible time (experience), where empathy is taught alongside team spirit and social behavior towards others.

The kindergarten of Evangelisches Krankenhaus is open to the public – thus not only children of employees, but children from all districts of Vienna are welcome.

A special feature compared to other kindergartens is the long opening hours, which particularly benefit the nursing staff.

For children from Vienna, the kindergarten fee is financed directly by the City of Vienna.

We run a family-style group with a maximum of 20 children aged 2–6. In a loving environment, we support our children in developing their skills and talents. We also teach them social norms and values as well as a sense of responsibility in a playful but respectful way. The holistic support and education of the children in our care are just as important to us as a carefree childhood.
