The psychology team at Evangelisches Krankenhaus offers clinical-psychological treatment and counseling as well as psychotherapeutic support for patients and relatives. By applying health-promoting measures, the patient is supported in coping with the illness and dealing with it in a self-responsible way – helping them to help themselves.
Interdisciplinary cooperation is based on a general biopsychosocial disease model that includes biological, social and psychological factors and their interaction in the development and maintenance of disorders.
