In the hospital sector, hygiene plays a crucial role in preventing infection. The close cooperation between medicine and nursing in the form of a four-person hygiene team ensures, above all, that infections are detected, monitored, prevented and combated. 

The hygiene team deals with topics such as monitoring nosocomial infections, preparing hygiene documents, cleaning and disinfecting the entire hospital. Special hygiene measures are essential in the operating theater as well as in the kitchen. Continuous hygiene audits and ongoing advice on new builds, extensions and conversions ensure high safety standards.

All of these measures are supplemented by staff training, the creation and display of posters and hand hygiene campaign days to ensure optimum hygiene safety for patients and staff.
