Wound Management

If wounds do not heal, this places a great psychological burden on the patient in addition to the physical one. Therefore, the modern wound management we practice plays a decisive role in the entire healing process.

It begins with a thorough wound history and diagnosis of the wound situation in order to determine the individual care requirements, and develop an individualized treatment plan.

Modern treatment techniques are used in this process, including advanced dressing materials, innovative therapeutic approaches such as vacuum therapy, and modern infection-control methods. Close interdisciplinary cooperation between wound management, nursing staff, and doctors is essential to ensure optimal care.

It is particularly important to treat patients with empathy, to take their individual fears and concerns seriously, to build a trusting relationship, and to provide comprehensive information and advice. This not only promotes physical healing, but also improves the patient’s general well-being.
