Many people underestimate varicose veins as a purely cosmetic problem – but they can increase the risk of thrombosis by a factor of five to six.
It is advisable to treat varicose veins at an early stage in order to avoid sequelae. Precise preoperative diagnostics are a prerequisite for optimal surgical treatment.
An individual vein examination including ultrasound provides a detailed picture, and if necessary an appointment for an operation can be made promptly at Evangelisches Krankenhaus.
Thanks to the latest techniques, such as the innovative hybrid saphenous vein method, for many procedures now extremely short hospital stays are sufficient.
