The permanently active Quality Assurance Commission of Evangelisches Krankenhaus Vienna, chaired by Prim. Prof. Dr. Sibylle Langenecker MBA, initiates, coordinates, and supports the quality assurance measures.

In addition to structure-, process- and outcome-related quality, these include, above all, patient safety, which is subject to the highest standards. These quality assurance measures implement scientifically recognized standards and enable comparative quality reviews with other hospitals.

Topics are raised by employees from the nursing and medical departments as well as the administration.

A Critical Incident Reporting System (CIRS) is also available to this end, which can be used to report incidents to quality assurance while maintaining the anonymity of the reporter.
