Since January 2013, a tumor board has been in place at Evangelisches Krankenhaus chaired by Prim. Prof. Dr. Georg Bischof. Specialists and experts from various disciplines exchange information in order to ensure optimal treatment for tumor patients. 

The tumor board has an ideal setting at Evangelisches Krankenhaus, as the interdepartmental treatment of patients has been established for a long time. Through professional teamwork, an individual treatment strategy can be developed for each patient, based on the highest level of quality and knowledge and without bureaucratic encumbrances. 

A tumor board meeting can be convened by the general practitioner team or by attending physicians.
