Diets are prescribed by the physician, so nutrition counseling should be coordinated with your treating physician. A dietologist is available if you have special dietary questions.

As a patient, you can use our free Wi-Fi from your room as well as from public areas with devices you have brought with you. You can find more information on billboards in your room, the reception and cafeteria area, the outpatient clinic as well as in all other public areas.

We have our own hair salon plus pedicure and manicure on the 2nd roof floor.

Hairdresser and foot care

A church service is held every Tuesday at 04 pm and is open to all denominations. It takes place in the chapel on the first basement level in the new addition. (accessible from the lift on first floor C). The church services follow the protestant, ecumenical or catholic liturgy and are announced on billboards.

If desired, you can be picked up for the church service and brought back to your room. If you need to receive infusions and wish to attend the church service, please inform your head nurse. They will gladly help you and try to plan the infusion so as to allow you to attend the service. We can also pay you a visit if you cannot come yourself.

We ask that you give all permanent medication that you brought with you to the nurse on duty on your ward. This is to ensure that there is no interruption of your permanent medication.

If you plan to take a taxi when you go home, our doormen will help order one for you.

Mandatory regulations for the protection of non-smokers stipulate that smoking must be prohibited in the wards, corridors, rooms, and  in the cafeteria and lobby area. Smokers who want to smoke a cigarette can use the specially designated smoking room located on the 2nd roof floor of the main building

For technical reasons, mobile telephones may be used in patient rooms only with certain restrictions and in the cafeteria with no restrictions. Use is prohibited in the corridors and in the operating and intensive care area.

Of course, it is also possible to rent a phone here. You can see the fees at the front desk. To facilitate invoicing, we request that you arrange for an advance payment with the doorman.

A pay phone is located on the ground floor next to the main entrance.

You do not need jewelry and valuables at the hospital. You can deposit cash in your room safe. A room safe is available for every patient.
