Welcome to the Central OR!

We thank you for your interest in the Central OR and have compiled for you the most important basic information.

The operating area of the Evangelical Hospital consists of six operating theatres and one procedure room, all furnished with the most modern technology.

On average, we perform a total of 45 surgeries per day. The main disciplines at the Evangelical Hospital are general, visceral, and vascular surgery; orthopaedic/trauma surgery; ear, nose and throat; ophthalmological; oral and maxillofacial; plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as urological surgery.

Interdisciplinary cooperation

The highly professional cooperation between several trained professionals is required to ensure the best possible outcome of a surgery: anaesthetists, surgeons, certified nurses, certified anaesthesiological nurses, OR assistants and cleaning staff.

Each professional group attaches great importance to continuous training and good cooperation.

Our aim is...

Our aim is to restore our patients’ health and the highest quality of life possible. This means first and foremost that we take care of people in a sensitive, trusting and professional manner.
